Canadian Senior Occupational Therapist & Brain Neuropsychologist Comes Our Hospital to Teach SYNCroSI Children Integrated Treatment Course

Women Healthcare Department of our hospital invited MS.Kim Barther, Canadian senior occupational therapist & brain neuropsychologist to be the speaker for SYNCroSI Children Development Integrated Treatment Practical Operation Training Course for a duration of five days from June 28-July 2. SYNCroSI consists of synchronized and sustainable. The course combines personal growth and clinic experience. It is a professional instructor's treatment training project set for educators, rehabilitation therapists and parents who deal with special children. SYNCroSI treatment is based on Ms. Kim's years of experience in children rehabilitation and international education, combining mental adjustment of regulation through relationship (RTR) , functional communication intervention (FCI), neuro-developmental treatment (NDT) and sensory processing intervention (SPI). It is also a deep philosophical idea for special children rehabilitation.

The participants present included 30 teachers, rehabilitation therapists and parents, and also 15 sick children. In the course, two trainees and one sick child formed one group to learn in gaming. The intensive 5-day training course integrates different advanced treatment methods including theories and practical skills. There is also demonstration, lecturing and group discussion after practical class. Full feedback is available for each step. Besides, the course encouraged trainees to cooperate and interacts with each other to provide personal and professional chance for review. The audience gained a lot from the 5-day course, which further lays a solid foundation for children rehabilitation treatment.
