ZHU Xuhong graduated from Medicine Department of Zhejiang Medical University (now known as Zhejiang University School of Medicine) in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree and was promoted to deputy chief physician of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003 and chief physician of general practice in 2009.

Have been engaged in maternal health care for 30 consecutive years and have proficiency in maternal and child health care services and daily management and undertake outpatience services for high-risk maternity and nutrition consultation; published 8 papers in national and provincial journals and co-published 5 papers as well as participated in over ten subjects at district, municipal and national levels.
