HU Wensheng is specialized in diagnosis and treatment of obstetrical complications, such as pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus, placenta previa and twins, having successfully saved a large number of pregnant and lying-in women in emergency and severe cases.

He went to the Mater Mothers’ Hospital in Australia to study maternal-fetal medicine; has deep knowledge in prenatal diagnosis, genetic counseling and fetal medicine, etc.; successfully completed the first fetoscopic laser surgery in Zhejiang Province to treat twin-twin transfusion syndrome and the first radiofrequency ablation for fetal reduction in the province and multiple other prenatal treatments; now is committed to the research on pregnancy complications, prenatal diagnosis and fetal medicine, as well as such other issues as intrauterine prevention, control and intervention of fetal diseases.

Former director of the Obstetrics Department of Women’s Hospital School of Medicine Zhejiang University and now the vice president of Hangzhou Women’s Hospital (Hangzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital).
