Clinical Laboratory of Hangzhou Women’s Hospital, a professional team relying on Hangzhou First People’s Hospital Group, was prepared in 2012 and officially opened to the public on November 12, 2014. The central area of the Clinical Laboratory locates at Area B, 3^rd floor of outpatient medical technology building with a floorage of 1,312 square meters. It offers blood and body fluid test, microbial and gene amplification test, biochemical immunoassay, clinical blood transfusion test and other items.

The Clinical Laboratory now boasts 27 staff members, including 5 with advanced titles, 7 with intermediate titles, 14 with primary titles and 7 masters and 1 medical practitioner and is equipped with international and domestic top-ranking hardware facilities and inspection equipment, including automatic blood collection stream line, automatic biochemical immune stream line, blood cell analysis stream line, blood culture instrument, microbial identification instrument, automatic enzyme-free analyzer, fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument and pneumatic logistics transmission system. It also offers over 300 clinical test items with the characteristics of gynecology, obstetrics and child health care and intensively focuses on perinatal health care, gynecological endocrine, gynecological tumor, gynecological pelvic floor urology and other featured specialties for satisfying the needs of hospital-wide medical care, health care and teaching and research.

The Clinical Laboratory sticks firmly to the mission of “devoting all for mothers and children’s health, and devoting to all mothers and children’s health”, adheres to the quality policy of “scientificity, efficiency, high-quality and innovation” and strives to solve problems for clinical practice and patients, ensuring the provision of fast timely and accurate test results and best services for every patient. In 2015 and 2016, it won the honorary title of “Advanced Hospital Collective” consecutively, the unit of outstanding clinical examination quality assessment in Hangzhou in 2016 and 2017 and its establishment slogan – “devoting youth to laboratory cause without regrets and creating the brand with cohesiveness” was rated as the slogan of Hangzhou Municipal Youth Civilization.
