On the afternoon of July 18, 50 officials from Maternity and Child Health Promotion of developing countries (13 countries including Lebanon, Egypt, Mongolia, Laos, Ukraine, Sri Lanka) visited Hangzhou Women's Hospital.
SHI Yuanming, previous Deputy Inspector of International Collaboration Office of China National Health and Family Planning Commission, CHEN Zhengfang, Chief of Collaboration Division of Zhejiang Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission International, YE Fang, Officer of Zhejiang Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission Maternity and Child Health Care Office, YU Qiang , Deputy Chief of Hangzhou Health and Family Planning Commission, TAO Jing, Deputy Chief of Hangzhou Health and Family Planning Commission Grassroots Health and Maternal and Child Health Care Division were received by leadership of Hangzhou Women's Hospital.
At 3 p.m., the classes arrived at Hangzhou Women's Hospital and our President ZHANG Zhifen led them to field visit the hospital for one hour, during which foreign guests were greatly impressed by smart medical care, child water spa and water birth. All guests had a symposium at the Lecture Hall of Hangzhou Women's Hospital for one hour after the visiting.
During the symposium, leaders from China's national, provincial and municipal health and family planning commissions introduced the charms, complex of Hangzhou and also the health and family planning cause in Hangzhou. President ZHANG also elaborated the overview and development of Hangzhou Women's Hospital.
In the following free discussion, foreign guests showed their interest in "Maternity and Child Health Care Brochure" led by the hospital and dual referral of maternal health, which they believed to be so thoughtful, creative and effective that worth spreading.

According to our knowledge, the training class started on July 12 in Taicang, Suzhou, with a duration of half a month. Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu are the visiting targets. Hangzhou Women's Hospital is also one of destinations for field visits to learn from.
The training class, sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce and National Health Commission, undertaken by Reproductive Health Family Health Center of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, aims to exchange best experience in maternity and child health care among developing countries so as to facilitate cooperation in health care, population and development of maternity and children.
During the training, members had widely and in-depth discussion on China's Maternity and Child Health Care Cause Development, China Family Planning and Birth Control Technology, Shanghai Maternal and Infant Safety Quality Management, Child Health Care and Early Development, Community Maternal Health Care and Family Planning Service, the Right to Know and Consulting Services on Reproductive Health and Birth Control.
