China National Health Commission Maternal and Child Office Investigates Our Work on Maternity and Child Care

To propel maternity and child health care cause in good order when difficulties occur in family planning technology services, SHEN Haiping, Deputy Director of China National Health Maternal and Child Health Care Office, MAO Qunxia, Officer of China National Health Maternal and Child Health Care Technology; CHEN Huiping, Officer of China Provincial Health Maternity and Child Health Care and other delegation came to our hospital for further investigation. SUN Leijuan, Hangzhou Population and Family Planning Commission, CHEN Jianfen, Head of Municipal Family Planning Station; TAO Jing, Deputy Chief of Municipal Health Family Planning Commission Grassroots Women's Division were received by leaders of Hangzhou Women's Hospital; JIN Shengyi, Director of Administrative Office and FENG Guofang, Principal of Hospital & Patients Communication Center were also in their company. 

Their first stop was Kunpeng Book Bar and Pharmacy Dispensing on the second floor of Outpatient Building. Deputy Director SHEN Haiping showed that it was not easy to start a public welfare book bar in the hospital. Followed by Obstetrical Clinic (on 3/F, Outpatient Building), Gynecological Clinic (on 4/F, Outpatient Building) and Pelvic Floor Center  (on 5/F, Outpatient Building), they observed how obstetricians operated Maternity and Child Health Care Brochure and asked the pregnant about their feelings for use, inquired gynecologists on abortion and postpartum birth control work and services of family planning technology. SHEN Haiping showed "Family planning is quite important for women", and praised physicians on their dedication to work. She said :"It's doctors' response and attitude towards patients' consulting that truly showed medical value and wisdom. Medical care is not only about medication and treatment." In LDR ward (20/F of Outpatient Building) Chief Nurse XU Jie introduced featured wards which gave hospital more touch of "home". Visiting leaders showed recognition and praise on the family care mode.

By investigation, Deputy Director SHEN Haiping believed advanced theory for maternity and child health care had carried out in Hangzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Institutes and Hangzhou at large. She totally acknowledged for the importance of Hangzhou Informationization Technology in leading maternity and child health care services, innovation in birth professional technology services and effective health orientation in human care propaganda; early start, new exploration and complete procedures in postpartum birth control work . She hoped that Hangzhou and Hangzhou Women's Hospital sped up in family planning technology services to further connect free birth control medicine and instrument channels and made new exploration in deepened medical reform so as to further emphasize technology and service values and medical staff, striving for better services to our people.
