The Emergency Department of Hangzhou Women’s Hospital is a youth civilization station in Hangzhou, which is responsible for the treatment of high-risk pregnant and lying-in women in Hangzhou. At present, there are 16 medical staff, including 2 CPC members, 9 CYL members, 1 doctor and 4 masters; 1 chief physician and 3 associate chief physicians, all of whom have obtained BLS or ACLS certificates.

Located on the 1^st floor of outpatient building, the department covers a total area of about 1,800 m² and has a tidy and bright environment. With independent areas set up, it is designed with rescue room, gynecological consultation and treatment room, obstetrical consultation and treatment room, injection room, negative pressure isolation ward, observation room, emergency cashier, emergency laboratory, emergency pharmacy and other units. In order to provide patients with more convenient and high-quality medical services, and in response to the “run once only” reform project in Zhejiang Province, the department also has a “one-stop admission preparation center” and a “critical maternal emergency center”, providing emergency patients visiting the hospital with a variety of diagnosis and treatment services within the scope of obstetrics and gynecology and critical illness first aid.

Establish a critical maternal treatment and rescue team at the hospital level and department level by relying on the hospital’s strong team of experts. Carry out multi-disciplinary and multi-departmental team cooperation for emergency and critically ill patients in obstetrics and gynecology to ensure their safety.

The department is committed to the diagnosis, treatment and first aid of emergency and severe cases in obstetrics and gynecology, and with the strong support of the hospital, sets up “Hangzhou Maternal Treatment & Rescue Center” to protect the health of women and children.
